Job Description:
Description: 
The scope of the position is to develop the Oracle eBusiness Suite migration plan from version 12.1.3 to 12.2.9. Other work scope would be to maintain the existing Oracle EBS 12.1.3 environment during the migration project.

Skills:
Should be proficient in installation, configuration & administration of Oracle E-business Suite R12.1.3/R12.2.x.
Should have EBS upgrade experience.
Experience in installation, setup and administration of Oracle Fusionware Weblogic 11gR1/12cR2.
Good experience in Oracle 12c & 19c databases administration with strong skills in concepts and architecture.
Excellent knowledge on Oracle EBS Upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.x.
Should be proficient in Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g/12c installation, configuration & administration.
Perform root cause analysis on failures. Resolve performance tuning related issues and queries, must have used OEM Tool, SQL Tuning Sets, SQL profiles, AWR Reports etc.
Should be able to identify Bad Plans of the problematic/slow running queries and implement Good Plan for such queries.
Should have around 10 to 12+ years’ experience in EBS R12.1.3 & R12.2.0+
Should be proficient in Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g/12c installation, configuration & administration.
Work with customer and Oracle support for any product issues.
Should have good experience in Maintenance and Support and ability to work on Complex Production environments independently.
Backup and Recovery skills with Data guard, Golden Gate implementation, RMAN configuration & Setup.
Good understanding of core support processes and Change Management.

Responsibilities:
 End to end responsible for EBS upgrade/cloning/migration from 12.1 to 12.2.
 Team player for Apps DBA team.
 Responsible for installation, upgrades and administration of (E-Biz and Oracle Database), patches, SR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning.
 Performed Apps DBA daily/routine tasks on administration Oracle environments for capacity planning, securing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and developer support.
 Set up a new clone instance from Prod and Test Environment and provided apps dba related support.
 Provided on-call support 24/7 for mission-critical production databases including database performance monitoring, application-related run-time monitoring.
  Planning and implementing backup solutions.
Strong knowledge of installation, upgrade, patching and cloning of EBS R12.1 and R12.2.
Good experience in Oracle 12c databases administration with strong skills in concepts and architecture and hands on experience on Oracle RAC databases.
Should have good experience in Maintenance and Support and ability to work on Complex Production environments independently.
Backup and Recovery skills with Data guard implementation, RMAN configuration Setup.
Strong knowledge in Database Performance and System tune.
Designed the database structure, created new Oracle Database instance and provided support for both Test and Prod environment.
Continuous review of Business critical Database to proactively identify space issues, performance tuning issues.
 Experienced in tuning of ERP jobs, Batch Job Monitoring, Long Running Concurrent Requests/Requests Sets, Jobs time/CPU consuming SQL Queries.
Analyzed AWR Reports to identify on-going/proactive issues and worked with Primary DBA to resolve the issues in a timely manner to meet the Business SLAs.
Conducted Performance Review of Oracle Database for business critical applications with Leadership team.
Generated AWR reports from Oracle 19c/12c Databases and analyzed the reports for Oracle wait events, time consuming SQL queries, Tablespace growth, database growth.
 Involved in SQL Query tuning and provided tuning recommendations to ERP jobs, time/CPU consuming queries.
Used Explain Plan, Oracle hints and creation of new indexes to improve the performance of SQL statements.
Completed minimized the space related errors in Oracle Databases by conducting month review with Senior Management and addresses the space issues proactively.
Provided tuning recommendations and future memory requirements to Primary DBA team to make the changes in Database like table reorg, add enough spaces to database.
Troubleshooting, analyzing reports/explain plan/SQL Trace for performance analysis.

Education:
Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related study fields are desirable to be a primary consideration of full employment.
