Information Security Sr. Project Manager - MPLS, MN (hybrid - local preferred)
Minneapolis, MN Client seeks a Senior Information Security Project Manager.
Work description/deliverables:

This position is responsible for project and program management of 4-6 cybersecurity initiatives, with some in various stages of delivery and others to be started during the engagement period. The current projects include implementing a vulnerability management scanning tool, an identity and access management practice enhancement, a records management data classification project, the final phase of a privileged access management tool implementation, and a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) project. The senior project manager reports to the PMO Director and takes work direction from the CISO Director and PMO Director.

General Responsibilities:

Held accountable for the Implementation and Quality of Key IT Business Deliverables
Engage the appropriate IT SME’s to work on the project as necessary
Develop and execute the IT project schedule, including milestones, tasks, duration, dependencies, and resource assignments
Ensure IT Requirements are defined from Project Stakeholders, and assist in documenting requirements and test cases as needed
Provide estimates for IT project elements
Communicate status, plans, issues, risks as needed to project stakeholders
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 5 years of previous Information Security project/program management experience
 Previous experience working with regulatory compliance initiatives utilizing Control Frameworks (i.e., NIST CSF, 800-53, or 800-171)
Leadership and team building skills
Service Now PPM/MS Project or other project planning software experience
MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
Working knowledge of Info Sec domains (Identity, threat protection, incident response and business continuity
