Description

Oracle Transportation Management SME Job Description 
The requirement is an Oracle Technology-dependent role, and the candidate must have OTM deployment, implementation, and configuration experience in addition to strong Transportation Management process skills and a background in the optimization of OTM implementations and business processes.
The job description for an Oracle Transportation Manager SME (Subject Matter Expert) may vary depending on the specific role requested by our clients. The ideal candidate will present with some or all of the following:
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, testing scenarios, and documenting processes and best practices for OTM projects.
• Develop metrics and approach for optimizing the existing OTM implementation
• Developing and delivering training, presentations, and demos to clients and stakeholders on OTM features and functionalities.
• The ideal candidate understands and can do hands-on OTM configuration work and/or guide others to do hands on work if required.
• Collaboration with other SMEs, consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of OTM solutions.
• Staying updated on the latest OTM releases, patches, enhancements, and industry trends.
• Deliver exceptional client service in all client interactions and projects.
• Identify risks and communicate appropriately with stakeholders to avoid and mitigate potential issues.
• May act as the team lead on projects. Tasks include working as a leader, managing the team, interacting with customer team leadership, and completing critical project documentation.
• Fully comprehends client requirements and translates them into implementable solutions.
• Travel may be required, but working with clients during US business hours is necessary.

Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of experience in overall Transportation Management practices and solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Transportation Management.
• Implementation and configuration experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions for clients across various industries and regions (current need is CPG - Fresh Produce).
• Has functional expertise on OTM modules, such as planning, execution, settlement, visibility, fleet management, and business intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of OTM architecture, configuration, integration, customization, and reporting capabilities
• Experience with how OTM integrates with other Oracle solutions and business processes is strongly preferred (WMS, INV, Supply Chain, etc.).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to mentor and coach other team members
